Next Generation
Our Next Gen Minisitry is made up of two groups, GREAT ROAD KIDS (Newborns – 6th Grade) and GREAT ROAD YOUTH (6th – 12th Grade)
Our Vision and Mission
Our vision at Great Road Church is to see every child and student experience spiritual curiosity that draws them close to God, belonging to God’s community, and God’s commission to serve and love others.
Sunday Mornings
We offer different classes for kids and students of all ages where they can experience age appropriate Bible lessons, games, and community.

Feast Sundays
On the First Sunday of every month we intentionally worship together as a whole church family. Expect an engaging Children’s Message, shorter sermons, and activities for kids. Nursery through Kindergarten programs are available.
Nursery & Toddlers
Every Sunday we have volunteers ready to receive our youngest ones for fun, play-based activities in a nurturing and caring environment. Our Nursery and Toddler rooms are open to littles aged 0 – 2 Years & 9 Months.
Pre-K & Kindergarten Kids
Every Sunday we have a wonderful crew of volunteers ready to lead our Preschoolers and Kindergartners in engaging activities, crafts, and Bible lessons. Our Pre-K & K class is for all kids who are at least 2 Years & 9 Months through Kindergarten.
Lower Elementary
Every 2nd – 5th Sunday of the month our younger elementary school kids gather with a fun team of volunteers to play games, do activities and crafts, and engage with the Bible. We have one class for 1st & 2nd Graders and another for 3rd & 4th Graders.
Upper Elementary
Every 2nd – 5th Sunday of the month our 5th and 6th graders head up to our Ministry Center for a Bible Class taught by Mr. Joe and his team of volunteers. Here our Tweens are challenged to grow in their faith and Biblical knowledge. All students in 5th & 6th Grade are invited to join.
Jr High Donuts & Devos
Every 2nd Sunday of the month we gather as a Jr High community upstairs in the Ministry Center for fellowship, devotions, games, and of course- donuts. Jr High Donuts & Devos is for students in 6th – 8th grade.
Sr High Donuts & Devos
Every 4th Sunday of the month our High School students meet up in the Ministry Center for community check ins, devotions, games, and donuts. Sr High Donuts & Devos is for students in 9th – 12th grade.
REACH
Every Sunday a small group of loving volunteers are eager to help your child flourish at Great Road through unique adaptations and one-on-one support and encouragment if required. Resources are also available for your family’s use in the Family Room. Contact our REACH Team Lead for more information.
NextGen Gatherings
Want to get involved beyond Sunday mornings? Come join us!
Youth Group
We welcome 6th – 12th graders to join us at youth group on Sunday’s from 6:00 – 7:30pm as we walk together in our faith and daily lives in pursuing following Jesus together. Each week we will play games, dig into Scripture together, and spend time in fellowship. Check out Church Center for more.
Kids & Family Events
At least once a quarter we offer special events for every age group including service projects and fun celebrations. Check out Church Center to see what is coming up! Annual events include: Lake Day, family trips to the WooSox, Advent Family Night, Blessing of the Backpacks, and Summer Blast.
