God is not like a math fact. You don’t learn it one day, and then just comprehend it perfectly. The early church described theology as a journey of “faith seeking understanding.” God has been revealed in Jesus, but that doesn’t mean we have exhaustive knowledge of God! Rather, Jesus is the gateway to an infinite, wonderful mystery that we’re invited to explore. This summer we’ll embrace the reality that faith is an ongoing journey into the mystery of God, and consider how new perspectives, insights, and truths we discover along the way can transform and reinvigorate our faith!
